Animal Cell Bioprocessing: Raman Spectroscopy System

equipment

What is it?
Raman spectroscopy system has a probe that emits laser beam pulses. Inelastic scatter from emitted laser beam is captured to identify and quantitate components present. This system is currently located in a laboratory with limited access.

Manufacturer: Tornado Spectral Systems

Model Name: Tornado’s HyperFlux™ PRO Plus

Applications: This system serves as a PAT (Process Analytical Technology) tool for bioreactor cell culture, placed either online or atline, that allows for detection of metabolites (i.e. Glucose, Lactate, Amino acids etc) and protein titer.

Instrument Overview: Raman spectroscopy system has a probe that emits laser beam pulses. Inelastic scatter from emitted laser beam is captured to identify and quantitate components present.
