Imaging Systems: (EARO-HTP) PerkinElmer Operetta CLS (High-Content)

equipment

What is it?
An LED light source, fully automated confocal microscope meant for high-content screening. The system delivers speed, sensitivity and resolution to capture fine sub-cellular details and lets you find subtle phenotypic changes for simple and complex cellular feature extraction and quantification.

Manufacturer: PerkinElmer

Model Name: Operetta CLS

Applications: High-Content Screening/Imaging; Phenotypic Screening; Fluorescence & Brightfield Microscopy

Instrument Overview: The instrument can only accept plates, typically, 96- and 384-well plates. It has eight LEDs for a wide excitation range paired with confocal and widefield fluorescence. Its large format sCMOS camera delivers low noise, wide dynamic range, and high resolution. It also has a live-cell chamber with CO2 & temperature control and one water-immersion & three air objectives.
