What is it?
The TripleTOF 6600 is a high resolution and high sensitivity mass spectrometer that uses a quadrupole time-of-flight (QTOF) mass analyser designed for non-targeted and targeted metabolomics. The MS is coupled to a Waters ACQUITY UPLC I-class system for normal flow LC separation with column internal diameters of 2.1 mm.

Instrument Overview: This mass spectrometer comes with the DuoSpray source (one ESI probe and one APCI probe). It has a second ionization probe that can be attached to the Calibration Delivery System (CDS) to allow automated calibration and tuning either intra- or inter sample during a batch of sample analysis. The TripleTOF uses a quadrupole time-of-flight (TOF) mass analyser where the quadrupole acts as a mass filter as well as a colliision cell for high efficiency MSMS fragmentation. The second mass analyser is the TOF with a dual-stage ion reflector. It is capable of analyzing large batches of complex samples with having to clean the source. This LC-MS system is setup for global metabolite screening as well as targeted metabolomics for quantitive analysis.
