Instrument Overview: The automatic guage block interferometer "GBI"is a CNC gauge block interferometer for automatically measuring the length, flatness and parallelism of gauge blocks. The "GBI" includes rich functions to be able to measure various end standards such as rectangular guage blocks, step gauges, etc. easily and accurately.

Technical features and specifications:
Twyman-Green Interferometer, 633-nm stabilized He-Ne laser and 532 nm stabilized Nd:YVO4 laser. The maximum measurable length is 250 mm. Uncertainty of measurment (k=2) is 0.025 µm + 0.2 x 10-6 L (L: Nominal length og gauge block (µm).
